WHO WE ARE
NATS Southern Alberta is a local chapter of the the National Association of Teachers of Singing. Founded in 1944, National Association of Teachers of Singing, Inc. (NATS) is the largest professional association of teachers of singing in the world with more than 7,000 members in the United States, Canada, and nearly 30 other countries.

The Southern Alberta chapter is distinguished as being the first Canadian chapter in NATS. It also founded the very first student (SNATS) chapter. Our members are all passionate teachers who benefit from being part of a professional community which supports and encourages the highest standards in the teaching of singing.
